  • Introduction
    Atalantia buxifolia is a shrub up to 2.5 meters high. The branches are numerous, the lower branches are draped, the twigs are green, the old branches are grayish-brown, the internodes are slightly flattened, the spines are many, the strength is straight, up to 4 cm long, the apex is reddish-brown, rarely nearly thornless. The flowers are clustered, sparsely single axillary, almost without peduncles, sepals and petals are 5, the petals are white, 3-4 mm long with oil spots, the flowering period is 5-12 months, and the fruiting period is 9-12 months.
