  • Introduction
    Prunus yedoensis is 4-16 meters tall and has gray bark. The twigs are pale purplish-brown, glabrous, and the shoots are green, sparsely pubescent. The inflorescence is umbel-shaped, the peduncle is very short, with 3-4 flowers, the first leaf is open, the flower diameter is 3-3.5 cm, the drupe is nearly spherical, 0.7-1 cm in diameter, black, the core surface is slightly ribbed. The flowering period is in April, the fruiting period is May, and the flowering trees that like light, temperature, humidity and fertilizer are suitable for growing under the climatic conditions of 10-12 °C average annual temperature, 60-70 cm annual precipitation and 2600-2800 hours of sunshine per year.
