  • Introduction
    Gnetum montanum grows in forests at an altitude of 1600-2000 meters above sea level, and is entangled in trees. Up to 10 meters high, the twigs are round or oblate, smooth, sparse with fine longitudinal wrinkles. The leaf shape is variable in size, usually rectangular and round, the male inflorescence is 1-2 times and three branches, loosely arranged, 2.5-6 cm long, the total peduncle is 6-12 mm long, the flowering period is 6-7 months, and the seeds mature in August-September.
