  • Introduction
    Thlaspi arvense prefers warm, humid climates and is highly drought tolerant, so it is not suitable for planting in low-lying paddy fields. Annual herb, 9-60 cm high, glabrous, stems erect, unbranched or branched, ridged. racemes apical, flowers white, about 2 mm in diameter, pedicels slender, 5-10 mm long, short-horned fruits obovate or nearly rounded, 13-16 mm long, 9-13 mm wide, flattened, concave at the apex, margins with wings about 3 mm wide. The flowering period is from March to April, and the fruiting period is from May to June.
