  • Introduction
    Euryale ferox 4-10 cm long, thornless on both sides, thornless petioles, leathery, elliptic to rounded, 10-130 cm in diameter, shield-shaped, with or without bending, entire, purple-ting, pubescent, sharp spines on both sides at vein branches, petioles and peduncles stout, up to 25 cm long, with hard spines. The seeds are spherical, more than 10 mm in diameter, and black. The flowering period is from July to August, and the fruiting period is from August to September.
