  • Introduction
    Acer truncatum bark grayish-brown or dark brown, deeply longitudinally lobed. The twigs are glabrous, the annual branches are green, and the perennial branches are grayish-brown with rounded skin holes. Leaves papery, 5-10 cm long, 8-12 cm wide, lateral veins slightly prominent above, conspicuous below, flowers yellowish-green, heterogeneous, male flowers and bisexual flowers of the same plant, often glabrous umbel inflorescences, 5 cm long, 8 cm in diameter, small nuts flattened, 1.3-1.8 cm long, 1-1.2 cm wide, flowering in April, fruiting in August.
