  • Introduction
    Erigeron breviscapus grows in open slopes or forest edges in the middle and subalpine mountains. The rhizomes are thick, woody, densely bearing many fibrous roots. The stem is erect, 5-50 cm high, with a few umbel-like branches in the middle, the whole plant is covered with multicellular stiff short hairs or mixed with glandular hairs, the leaves are entire, with coarse hairs on both sides, the basal leaves are densely rosette-shaped, spoon-shaped or obovate-lanceolate, 1.5-11 cm long and 0.5-2.5 cm wide.
