  • Introduction
    Ipomoea nil is an annual winding herb with inverted pubescence and long bristles mixed with inverted or unfolded hairs on the stem. Leaves broadly ovate or nearly rounded, axillary, single or usually 2 flowers born at the top of the peduncle, peduncle of varying length, 1.5-18.5 cm long, capsule nearly spherical, 0.8-1.3 cm in diameter, 3-lobed. The seeds are ovate-triangular, about 6 mm long, black-brown or beige, covered with brown short hairs. Grows at an altitude of 100-200 meters above sea level in moist streams and hillside shrubs.
