  • Introduction
    Selaginella moellendorffii grows in rock crevices at an altitude of 100-1500 meters. Native or lithophytic, erect, 20-55 cm high, with a transverse underground rhizome and migratory stem, on which scaly pale green leaves are born. Leaves (except on unbranched main stems) alternately arranged, dimorphic, straw or papery, smooth surface, margins not wholly margined, white-edged, sporophylls tightly spike, quadrangular shaped, solitary at the end of the branchlets, 5.0-15 mm× 1.4-2.8 mm; The macrospores are pale yellow, and the microspores are orange.
