  • Introduction
    Aegle marmelos bark grey with many thorns. Thick and hard, strong and straight, born in the leaf axils, long up to 3 cm, the branches have long branches and short branches, the internodes of the long branches are longer, there is 1 normal leaf on each node, there are 1 or 2 thorns on its side, the internodes of the short branches are short, each node has 1 leaf without thorns, the small and large differences in the leaves are larger, the leaves at the seedling stage are single leaves, opposite or nearly opposite, the leaves drawn out later are single leaflets, the leaves born in the upper part of the stem are finger-like 3 leaves, sometimes 2 leaflets, the leaflets are broadly ovate or oblong, 4-12 cm long, 2 - wide — 5 cm, the central one is larger, with small petioles about 2 cm long, sessile on both sides, and shallow blunt lobes on the margins.
