  • Introduction
    Ziziphus jujuba deciduous small tree, sparse shrub, up to 10 m high, bark brown or grayish-brown, leaves papery, ovate, ovate-elliptic, or ovate-obtangled, 3-7 cm long, 1.5-4 cm wide, apex obtuse or rounded, sparsely pointed, with a small pointed tip, slightly asymmetrical at the base, seeds oblate-elliptic, about 1 cm long, 8 mm wide. The flowering period is from May to July, and the fruiting period is from August to September, and it grows in mountains, hills or plains below 1700 meters above sea level.
