  • Introduction

The tendrils are slightly thicker. Monoecious. Male flowers solitary, peduncle stout, angular, covered with short yellowish-brown bristles, calyx lobes linear-lanceolate, peduncle stout, with distinct grooves, pedicles thickened or slightly enlarged. The shape of the fruit varies from variety to variety, the seeds are ovate, white, about 20 mm long, and the edges are arched and blunt.
