  • Introduction
    Prunus avium twigs grey-brown, shoots green, glabrous, winter buds ovate-elliptic, glabrous. Leaves obovate-elliptic or elliptic-ovate, 3-13 cm long, 2-6 cm wide, apex acutely acutely or shortly acuminate, base rounded or wedge-shaped, inflorescence umbel-shaped, with 3-4 flowers, flowers and leaves blooming together, flower buds with large scales, flowering stage reversed, drupes nearly spherical or ovate, red to purplish-black, 1.5-2.5 cm in diameter, smooth core surface. The flowering period is from April to May, and the fruiting period is from June to July.
