Introduction

• The Barclaya longifolia are broadly linear, and the reproduction of barclaya longifolia is mainly seed propagation, but the method of tuber separation can also grow well, and it is distributed in Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina Peninsula.
• Barclaya longifolia is a nymphaeaceae plant native to Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is native to ponds and swamps with relatively stable water flow in this region.
• The leaves in the water are 6-7cm wide and up to 60cm long, and the edge of the leaves is wavy.
• Depending on the light and fertility conditions, the middle color of the water may show different colors such as yellow-green, green, red-brown, brown, red and even bright purple. However, under the light condition of the negative grass tank, the leaf color of the red sea ribbon grass is mostly yellow-green or reddish brown.
• Unlike other nymphaeaceae plants, this species does not have the ability to produce floating leaves.
• The Red Sea ribbon grass prefers weakly acidic soft water and is generally resistant to hard water. Due to its well-developed roots and large plants, it is suitable for planting in an open and fertile mud foundation when raising, which provides sufficient fertility and growth space.
