Eustoma grandiflorum
Eustoma grandiflorum, commonly called lisianthus or prairie gentian, is a biennial or annual in the Gentianaceae family, native to North America. Its elegant, rose-like flowers come in white, pink, purple, and blue, blooming in summer. Growing 1-3 feet tall, it prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Lisianthus is popular in cut flower arrangements due to its long vase life and delicate appearance. It thrives in warm climates but can be grown as an annual in cooler regions. The plant attracts pollinators and adds a refined touch to gardens and bouquets.
